The Atlanta Hawks giving head coach Quin Snyder a contract extension is seen as "inevitable" around the league, sources told Marc Stein and Jake Fischer of The Stein Line.

There were rumors during the regular season that the Cavs would pursue Snyder, though Kenny Atkinson will return as head coach next season.
