Frank Vogel has agreed to become associate head coach of the Golden State Warriors under Steve Kerr. The Warriors lost assistant coaches Terry Stotts and Jerry Stackhouse this offseason.

Vogel was most recently an assistant coach with the Dallas Mavericks under Jason Kidd.

Vogel was previously head coach of the Indiana Pacers, Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns. Vogel was head coach of the Lakers in 2020 when they won the NBA championship.

Vogel lasted just one season as head coach of the Suns.
