It has finally happened! The Suzuki RM-Z450 has been updated for the 2027 model year! Okay, it may not look like much initially, but we promise, there are changes. Since 2018, the RM-Z450 has come equipped with Showa 49mm spring forks and a Showa BFRC shock. Well, not anymore, as the 2027 model comes equipped with new KYB units, featuring a 48mm fork up front and a traditional style shock out back. All with valving developed for this specific model. It has also been updated with a newer and lighter Excel rim, a new muffler to meet updated AMA / FIM sound restrictions, an updated air inlet tube (from the airbox to the throttle body), and the latest lineup of Bridgestone tires (Battlecross XC30s).

While it's not a new model or overhaul, it still shows that there is movement and activity at Suzuki. These updates to the 450 are also combined with an offer for the "championship edition" for free. This package includes a HEP Suzuki-inspired graphics kit from SKDA, along with a full Pro Circuit exhaust system: featuring a titanium canister, carbon fiber end cap, and stainless steel PC spec headpipe.

Lastly, the Suzuki RM-Z250 also sees a series of small updates, which are nearly identical to the 450. While the 250 has had KYB forks and shock on this model since its last update in 2019, it sees updated settings for 2027, along with new Dunlop MX34 tires, the updated Excel rims, and an updated exhaust.

The RM-Z450 sees a price increase from $9,399 to $9,699...while the RM-Z250 sees a price increase from $8,299 to $8,499 for 2027.
