The upper deck at Angel Stadium is an interesting place.

As the Los Angeles Dodgers completed a humiliating three-game sweep over the Angels in the Freeway Series on Sunday, one fan apparently decided that pest control duties were also part of the experience.

In a vital TikTok video posted Sunday, the Dodgers’ fan, wearing a Kiké Hernández gold World Series collection jersey, is seen wrangling a wild opossum behind the final row of seats in Section 534 near the right-field foul pole.

The crowd in the section screams and roars as the fan grabs the animal by the tail and holds it up like it was the last out of the World Series. Located somewhere between brave and a terrible decision, the moment turned into absolute theater.

Stadium security was waiting with a cardboard box and the fan aggressively dropped the animal inside before celebrating. Hilariously, he then wipes out into the row below crashing into an Angels fan wearing a Mike Trout jersey. Poetry.

Angel Stadium is definitely having a rough few weeks. The California Post was the first to break the news that the fourth-oldest stadium in baseball had an entire section shut down by Orange County Public Health Services after they discovered a rat infestation

The internet had a field day in the comments section.

“So Angel Stadium is the new Oakland Coliseum,” one fan joked online.

Another added: “Dodgers fans really doing everything for the Angels this weekend. Sold out the stadium, took over the crowd, swept the series, and even handled the pest control.”

Honestly, hard to argue with that. The Dodgers outscored the Angels 31–3 in the sweep. By Sunday night, even the opossum was waving the white flag.
