De’Aaron Fox is once again expected to be a game-time decision for Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals as he continues recovering from a high ankle sprain.
The San Antonio Spurs guard already missed the first two games of the series against the Oklahoma City Thunder after aggravating the injury during the second-round matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Fox initially attempted to play through the issue before worsening it in Game 6, when San Antonio closed out the series.
The Spurs may also enter Game 3 without Dylan Harper, who suffered a hamstring injury during Game 2.
That situation has placed most of the playmaking responsibilities on Stephon Castle as San Antonio deals with injuries in the backcourt.
During the regular season, Fox averaged 18.6 points, 6.2 assists, and 3.8 rebounds across 72 appearances for the Spurs.
