After sealing promotion to the promised land of the Premier League, both Ipswich Town and Coventry City, the hard work will already be underway behind the scenes to scout out signings that will take both the Tractor Boys and the Sky Blues to that next level, as the daunting task of securing safety awaits.
Both Leeds United and Sunderland showed last summer that spending wisely in the transfer market significantly boosts your survival chances, with the Suffolk side and Frank Lampard's men desperate to win their very own lethal top-flight ready marksman, like Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Tipped to both make a move for Irish centre-forward Troy Parrott, who has proven himself to be a very clinical finisher on the books of AZ Alkmaar, there is another target on both their shopping lists who could go on to be their very own Ivan Toney.
Why Coventry and Ipswich need to find their own Toney
Like Haji Wright at Coventry, Toney is a forward who had to do a lot of learning in the Championship and below, before becoming a feared goal machine in the top-flight.
The now Al-Ahli striker had to be so patient when it came to making a name for himself at the very top of the English game but he well and truly dominated in the English Football League.
Scoring goals galore for the likes of Scunthorpe United and Peterborough United in the lower depths of the EFL, his time to shine in the Premier League finally came about with Brentford in 2020.

Bagging a ridiculous 31 strikes for the Bees during the 2020/21 season, which ended in the ecstasy of promotion, Toney never looked back from this point on, going on to amass a lethal 36 goals for the West London outfit over three seasons in the Premier League.
Subsequently, having such a dangerous marksman leading the line with venom week in week out meant survival was a breeze for Brentford to obtain, with Keith Andrews' men now a top-flight regular, thanks, in part, to their former deadly servant.
Both Ipswich and Coventry would jump at the chance to acquire their very own Toney; therefore, if it meant that clinching safety in the Premier League became suddenly more achievable.
As it happens, they may well have found one.
Ipswich and Coventry could sign their own Toney
The target in question here is Lois Openda, with both Kieran McKenna's men and Lampard's title-winners tentatively linked with a move for the £35m centre-forward.
Openda is an attainable target for the likes of the Premier League newbies, as opposed to a bigger name, as he is currently deep in a disastrous two-goal season for Italian giants Juventus.
Yet, his previous goalscoring exploits away from Turin make him stand out as a clear upgrade on what both clubs have at their disposal in attack at the moment, with the likes of George Hirst and the aforementioned Wright far from proven in an elite division.
On the other hand, the 33-time Belgium international is well-versed on what it takes to be a Toney-level talent in some tough divisions all over Europe, with 33 goals from 69 appearances in the Bundesliga, not far off the ex-Posh attacker's return of 36 strikes from 85 Premier League appearances.
Further boasting 49 goals next to his name in both Ligue 1 and the Eredivisie, Openda will hope he can tick the Premier League off next as another league where he's terrorised opposition defences, as the 5-foot-9 menace tries to help either Ipswich or Coventry to acclimatise to their new surroundings with more ease.
Both promoted teams will have to take a sizeable chunk out of their transfer budgets to land the deadly 26-year-old.
Yet, it will be viewed as a worthwhile investment if Openda goes on to take his brand-new side to that next level in the Premier League, as survival is secured in style for either the Tractor Boys or the Sky Blues.
Coventry City and Ipswich could sign the next Vardy in deal for 23-goal star
Coventry City and Ipswich Town both look set to compete for similar targets in the upcoming summer transfer window.
