Cooper Webb has confirmed that the 2026 AMA Pro Motocross Championship will be his final outdoor season. The Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha rider responded to the rumors surrounding his future in a video on YouTube.

“I just want to address the rumors — they’re true… 2026 will be my final AMA Pro National season. So give me all the support and come say hi in the pits,” said Webb.

The American also reflected on his recent Supercross season, in which he achieved one victory and eight podium finishes. Webb described the year as a season full of ups and downs.

“It started off a bit rough, which also led to crashes, and you could see that in the results. Then I gained momentum and was pretty consistently on the podium. After the break, I struggled again. No major crashes, but a lot of small slide-outs.”

According to Webb, it was not only physically demanding but mentally challenging as well. “I gave it my all, but it wasn’t always rewarded. In the end, I made it through the season in one piece again. That’s always the biggest goal, besides of course winning the title.”

The Yamaha rider finished the season third overall and is now turning his focus toward the outdoor season. “Next year we’ll give it another shot. But first, it’s time to prepare for the outdoors.”
