Cooper Webb's latest vlog covers some rumors for 2026 and beyond. He has stated that this will mark his final Pro Motocross season and that he does intend racing in 2027 and 2028 (some combo of SX, SMX, and WSX), and that deal will be inked soon.

He has earned it to be able to pick his team/plans for the future. Never been a fan, but I would never deny his talent. He mentioned turning 30, and if he has the luxury of picking his terms, and it keeps a bad dude on the gate another couple years, God bless him. I think it is awesome that his group of badasses are still banging bars into their 30's at the top level. I wish him the best.

I thought he retired a few years ago. But good for him he deserves to be happy.
Yeah he was super retired when he won the SX championship last year.
I’m pretty sure that he was referring to retiring from the Nationals, not SX. He hasn’t finished in the top 5 for the 450 Nationals since 2021 and that 4th place in the championship is his best ever in the class.
Since 2021 he’s finished:
2022: Didn’t race MX
2023: 12th
2024: 35th
2025: 13th

I was thinking that mb60 was the one being a bit sarcastic, but maybe I read it completely wrong!

The only people benefiting from Husqvarna going under is Tedder and Cooper Webb. That’s gonna be a team with a fun atmosphere. Justin Hill is huge into music and after this year it seems Webb is also. I can see some really cool collaborations and sponsors with that team.

I remember walking into a local surf shop in North Carolina around 2004 and the guy telling me that as a moto journalist, I should check out this local kid named Cooper Webb. I found him to be an extremely determined, smart and talented nine-year old. It has been absolutely phenomenal watching him capture the dream that every moto rider wants. He deserves every dollar and accolade.
