Conor McGregor, Max Holloway

Conor McGregor says he has solved the Max Holloway puzzle and analysed the Hawaiian deeply before their UFC 329 rematch.

This weekend, “The Notorious,” who is returning to the octagon after five years, will run it back with Holloway, whom he beat 13 years ago by unanimous decision.

This time, however, the favorite, Holloway, wants to “recreate” his iconic UFC 300 moment against McGregor at UFC 329. If their bout reaches the final 10 seconds, “Blessed” will point to the centre of the octagon and invite the Irishman to stand and trade with reckless abandon.

And now “The Notorious” has said that he is game to accept the callout and is excited to “manoeuvre” through Holloway at UFC 329. During an interview with TMZ Sports, he said:

“I have analyzed this boy [Max Holloway] very meticulously, very deeply. And I am fully prepared. I am excited to manoeuvre my way through him… I will stand in there with this boy and let go. I am confident all across the board.”

Conor McGregor reacts to Max Holloway training with Jack Della Maddalena

Before his welterweight debut, Max Holloway has invited former 170-pound titleholder Jack Della Maddalena to his camp to help him prepare for the Conor McGregor rematch.

On UFC 329 Media Day, when “The Notorious” was asked to share his two cents on what he thinks about the Hawaiian choosing the Australian as a training partner to emulate McGregor, he quipped:

“That’s not gonna cut it. Not a bad choice. Why not. I’ve seen the little Pity Pat Mickey Mouse Club training. It looks like a teen amateur fu**ing… It’s not on the level. It’s not going to cut it for the ferocity that will be before him in the octagon as well as the weaponry… Both can get it.”
