The Boston Celtics are converting guard Devin Carter to a two-way contract. Carter had signed with the Celtics on an Exhibit 10 contract and won a camp competition for the team's open two-way spot.

Carter spent the first two seasons of his career with the Sacramento Kings, after being drafted with the 13th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. The Kings traded Carter to the Atlanta Hawks earlier this offseason in a salary-clearing move. The Hawks then waived Carter, which allowed the point guard to join the Celtics.

Boston has now filled all three two-way spots. The Celtics are expected to carry an open standard roster spot into the regular season.
