Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayCason Wallace and the Oklahoma City Thunder have discussed contract structures in the $25 million annual average value range, reports The Stein Line. Dyson Daniels recently signed a four-year, $100 million contract with the Atlanta Hawks, while Christian Braun and the Denver Nuggets agreed to a five-year, $125 million deal with both contracts containing a $25 million annual average value.
The Thunder must navigate a complicated payroll situation due to long-term contracts signed by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren. The Thunder also re-signed Isaiah Hartenstein this offseason while trading away Lu Dort, Isaiah Joe and Aaron Wiggins.
Wallace appeared in 77 games last season, averaging 8.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.9 steals for the Thunder while also making Second Team All-Defense.
Wallace also could be capable of playing a larger role on offense if given a bigger opportunity than what his Oklahoma City opportunities allow.
