The Milwaukee Brewers have one of baseball's rising star pitchers in Jacob Misiorowski, and he put together the best start of his young career on Tuesday night against one of baseball's best lineups, the Los Angeles Dodgers. 

Misiorowski went six innings, allowed just one run, a leadoff home run to Shohei Ohtani, and struck out 12 batters in only his fifth big league appearance as the Brewers defeated the Dodgers, 3-1. 

He has quickly become one of baseball's must-see players, not only for his ability to consistently throw the ball over 100 mph, but also for his absurd — and equally powerful — breaking pitches. 

Everything with him his fast, and contains ridiculous movement. 

His arsenal of pitches includes an 88 mph curveball, which he unleashed here:

There was a time, not that long ago, where 88 and 92 were considered average-to-above-average fastball velocities. These numbers on "breaking" and "off-speed" pitches are not only a testament to how much the game has changed from a pitching perspective, but also how ridiculous Misiorowski's stuff is. 

When he first arrived in the Major Leagues this season, he went 10 consecutive innings to open his career without allowing a hit, and through his first three appearances (totaling 16 innings), he allowed just three total hits and only one run.

He was roughed up a little in his most recent appearance against the New York Mets (five runs in 3.2 innings) but bounced back in a big way on Tuesday.

With his start against the Dodgers in the books he has now pitched 25.2 innings, allowed only eight runs on 12 hits and has struck out 33 batters. His ERA sits at 2.81 for the season. It is obviously still very early in his career, but he is worth tuning in for every time he takes the mound.
