Brandon Miller still remains a candidate to sign a rookie scale contract extension with the Charlotte Hornets, according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line.

The deadline for extensions is on Monday at 6 PM ET.

Cason Wallace agreed to a five-year extension with the Thunder late Sunday night.

Stein adds that the Magic are not expected to extend Anthony Black due to their payroll situation.

The Magic are also not looking to trade Black, making it likely that the point guard will become a restricted free agent next summer.
