Capri remains vibrant without feeling overcrowded. Positano regains a more relaxed atmosphere, while Amalfi and Ravello become easier to enjoy without the intensity of peak summer.

From a cruising perspective, September offers another significant advantage: greater flexibility.

Anchorages that would have been crowded only a few weeks earlier often become surprisingly peaceful, making it easier to spend evenings at anchor beneath dramatic cliffs or enjoy breakfast in complete tranquillity before heading ashore.
