Benoit Saint Denis is expecting a fan-friendly fight against Paddy Pimblett at UFC 329.

In the co-main event of UFC 329 on Saturday in Las Vegas, Saint Denis is set to throw down with Pimblett in a fight that could have title implications. Heading into the bout, Saint Denis is a slight favorite, but he’s expecting a tough scrap, as he thinks with how tough Pimblett is, it will lead to them winning the Fight of the Night.

“It’s a privilege to be here in such a huge card, and of course, it’s a huge fight,” Saint Denis said at UFC 329 media day. “I’m fully concentrated on what I have to do and delivering you a Fight of the Night performance.”

If Saint Denis does have a Fight of the Night type of performance at UFC 329, fans should be in for a treat. Pimblett, meanwhile, proved in his last fight that he can get into wars, which should lead to an exciting co-main event at UFC 329.

With Benoit Saint Denis predicting a Fight of the Night, it shows how much he thinks of Pimblett’s skill and durability.

So, ahead of UFC 329, Saint Denis makes it clear he isn’t overlooking Pimblett and expects a tough bout on Saturday.

“Not too much,” Saint Denis said, if he was surprised to get Pimblett. “I do believe I put myself in a small group conversation, and it was part of it. It’s a huge fight, and I’m not underestimating him.”

If Saint Denis does get his hand raised at UFC 329, he will be right there for a lightweight title shot. However, he said he isn’t focusing on that as his sole focus is on Pimblett and beating him on Saturday.
