In the latest episode of Yamaha Racing – Inside MXGP S3:E15, titled “Ben Townley tries to HOLESHOT a FACTORY Husqvarna in Sweden,” the Swedish Grand Prix in Uddevalla takes center stage.

One of the highlights is a holeshot challenge featuring former world champion Ben Townley. Alongside names such as Joel Smets and Brian Jorgensen, he takes on Rasmus Jorgensen, team manager of Red Bull Husqvarna Factory Racing. Townley rides a completely standard Yamaha YZ450F, while Jorgensen has a factory Husqvarna at his disposal. The result is an entertaining battle between pure starting speed and machinery.

Maxime Renaux also speaks openly for the first time about his difficult period with long COVID. The Frenchman offers an honest insight into the impact the symptoms have had on him and how the experience completely changed his perspective on the condition.

Isak Gifting also plays a prominent role in the episode. In front of his home crowd, the Swede was one of the main attractions in Uddevalla and played an important role in creating the fantastic atmosphere throughout the weekend, which attracted a record number of Swedish fans.
