Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwaySylvain Francisco will remain with ASVEL after signing a record contract, with the French club making it clear it has no intention of parting ways with the guard, according to Eurohoops.
Despite ongoing speculation fueled by ASVEL’s financial situation and Panathinaikos’ interest, the club continues to view Francisco as a central figure in its long-term plans.
While Panathinaikos remains interested, a move to Greece would only become possible if ASVEL changes its stance and decides to let the player leave.
ASVEL has already completed Francisco’s buyout from Zalgiris Kaunas, clearing the way for him to begin the season in France.
Panathinaikos, meanwhile, is continuing to evaluate other backcourt options, including Zalgiris guard Nigel Williams-Goss, while also monitoring the U.S. market.
