Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayArman Tsarukyan has spoken about why he didn’t know the UFC Freedom 250 main event result for a good few hours.
On Sunday night, Justin Gaethje defeated Ilia Topuria in emphatic fashion to become the new UFC lightweight champion. In doing so, he may well have set himself up for a clash with Arman Tsarukyan, who has been waiting patiently for an opportunity to challenge for the strap.
Tsarukyan isn’t exactly a fan favorite, and he also isn’t really in the good books with the UFC for several reasons, many of which stem from outside the cage issues. Alas, nobody can deny that he’s one of the best at 155 pounds.
In a recent interview, Tsarukyan explained why he didn’t learn the result of the main event for quite some time.

“I couldn’t watch the fight live,” Tsarukyan revealed.
“They didn’t have WiFi on the plane, and I was just sitting and saying, ‘No way, how I can miss this flight.’ For 8 hours, I was thinking, ‘What happened, what happened?’
“When we landed my friend was like, ‘Justin won.’ I couldn’t believe, to be honest. I was happy,” he added.

For Arman, the focus now is on staying active and trying to prove to the UFC that he deserves to be competing at the elite level. Who knows, maybe the next time we hear from him, he will be getting a title fight announcement that has, in the view of many, been long overdue.
