Anderson Silva and UFC CEO Dana White’s relationship hasn’t been great since the disappointing end of the legend’s fighting career.

UFC Hall of Famer Anderson Silva is arguably one of the greatest fighters to ever compete inside the Octagon after a legendary career of (mostly) dominance. During his prime, Silva was considered the ‘Michael Jordan of MMA’ for his exciting style and dominance inside the cage.

After a shocking loss to Chris Weidman by knockout at UFC 162, Silva was never the same, going winless over eight of his final nine UFC fights. A TKO loss to Uriah Hall in October 2020 was the final nail in the coffin of his UFC career, as the promotion opted to part ways after his third consecutive defeat.

UFC CEO Dana White made headlines recently when he claimed that he and Silva haven’t spoken since his exit. White says Silva refuses to speak with him after refusing to book him for another fight following the Hall loss.

Just five months after claiming he has ‘no issues’ with White, Silva took the opposite approach when responding to White’s remarks.

Anderson Silva scorches Dana White’s comments, claims he ‘saved the promotion’

In a recent Instagram comment, Silva responded to White’s claims about their relationship.

”The bald guy saying s***,” Silva said.

“I’ve been out of the organization for many years already, but apparently neither the current fighters nor the bald guy himself can forget my accomplishments.

“Deep down, the bald guy knows that with me there was no whining, everybody got beat up, and I saved the promotion more than once. And just so we’re clear, it seems like the bald guy doesn’t know how to count.”

As of this writing, White hasn’t responded to Silva. Silva hasn’t fought in any combat sport since knocking out Tyron Woodley in their December boxing match on the Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua undercard.
