Ahmed Nur announced his commitment to Ole Miss for the class of 2027 over the weekend.

Nur, ranked No. 19 in the SC Next 100, is Ole Miss' highest-ranked recruit in at least 20 years.

"I believe it is the best fit for me and my play style. I believe I will flourish in their system," Nur told ESPN. "Coach [Chris] Beard has been consistent in recruiting me and making it known I'm going to be a priority in the program."

Nur is the program's first commit for the 2027 class.
