Orgo-Life the new way to the future

September is one of our favorite times to experience Sardinia by yacht. The sea retains the warmth of summer, the intense August crowds begin to disappear, and the spectacular cruising grounds of Northern Sardinia can be explored at a noticeably more relaxed pace.

For guests able to travel at short notice, ADEONA has opened an attractive Sardinia yacht charter opportunity from 8–14 September 2026, with embarkation and disembarkation in Olbia. The 20.46-meter Fountaine Pajot Alegria 67 sailing catamaran is currently offered with a 30% last-minute reduction, bringing the charter rate to €25,900 + expenses for the six-night period.

With accommodation for eight guests, expansive exterior spaces, and the volume and stability associated with a large sailing catamaran, ADEONA is particularly well suited to exploring Costa Smeralda, the La Maddalena Archipelago, and, for guests wishing to venture farther north, Southern Corsica.

Why September Works So Well for a Sardinia Yacht Charter

Northern Sardinia is at its busiest during July and August, when yachts from across the Mediterranean converge around Costa Smeralda and the La Maddalena Archipelago.

September offers a different experience.

The coastline remains very much alive, but anchorages gradually become quieter, and there is greater freedom to enjoy the region at a slower pace. After months of Mediterranean sunshine, the sea is still beautifully warm, making swimming, snorkeling and long days at anchor an essential part of the charter.

For guests who prioritize the natural side of Sardinia rather than the peak-season social calendar, it can be one of the most rewarding periods of the year.

“September can be exceptional in Northern Sardinia. You still have warm water and beautiful Mediterranean weather, but the atmosphere changes completely after August. With ADEONA already positioned in Olbia, guests can start exploring Costa Smeralda and La Maddalena almost immediately, with Corsica also within reach if they want to extend the itinerary north.”

— Giulia Di Leo, CEO, Your Boat Holiday

From Olbia to Costa Smeralda and La Maddalena

Starting and finishing in Olbia places ADEONA within easy reach of some of Sardinia’s finest cruising grounds.

The itinerary can quickly move north towards Costa Smeralda, combining its famous ports and waterfront restaurants with the secluded bays and turquoise water that define this stretch of coastline.

Continue farther north, and the landscape changes again.

The La Maddalena Archipelago offers a maze of granite islands, protected anchorages and extraordinary colors, with locations around Caprera, Spargi and the surrounding islands creating an ideal environment for a sailing catamaran.

With only six nights available, there is no need to turn the charter into a race between destinations. A carefully planned route can instead allow guests to spend more time at the best anchorages, adjusting each day to weather conditions and how they want to enjoy their time on board.

ADEONA: The Space of a Fountaine Pajot Alegria 67

Built by Fountaine Pajot in 2021, ADEONA belongs to the shipyard’s successful Alegria 67 series.

At 20.46 metres with an impressive 9.8-metre beam, she offers significantly more living space than her length alone might suggest.

The wide multihull platform creates several distinct areas for dining, relaxing and socializing, making ADEONA particularly comfortable for guests who plan to spend much of their charter outdoors and close to the water.

She accommodates eight guests in four double cabins, including a spacious VIP suite with an ensuite bathroom.

The four-double configuration works particularly well for couples traveling together, while families benefit from the generous communal spaces and privacy offered by the different areas throughout the yacht.

A professional crew of three handles the sailing and onboard service throughout the charter.

Outdoor Living Made for Sardinia

ADEONA’s exterior layout is particularly well suited to Sardinia.

Her expansive flybridge provides an elevated social area with panoramic views across the coastline, while the wide cockpit creates a natural setting for long alfresco lunches and dinners at anchor.

Generous deck spaces allow guests to find both sociable areas and quieter places to relax throughout the day.

This style of yacht works especially well around La Maddalena, where the experience is often less about traveling significant distances and more about finding an extraordinary anchorage and enjoying it.

Breakfast can begin with a view of an empty bay, followed by swimming and time on the water before moving a relatively short distance for lunch or another afternoon anchorage.

The yacht becomes part of the destination rather than simply the means of traveling through it.

The Option to Continue Towards Corsica

An Olbia round-trip also creates another possibility.

Guests wanting to add a different dimension to their Sardinia itinerary can continue north through the Strait of Bonifacio and incorporate Southern Corsica.

The spectacular approach to Bonifacio, with its historic citadel rising above dramatic limestone cliffs, provides a striking contrast to Sardinia’s granite landscapes. Nearby islands and secluded bays can also be incorporated before returning south towards La Maddalena and Olbia.

For a six-night charter, however, we would decide how much of Corsica to include according to the group’s priorities rather than automatically trying to cover both islands.

Guests primarily interested in swimming, watersports and relaxed days aboard may prefer to concentrate entirely on Northern Sardinia. Those looking for greater variety can add Bonifacio and selected locations in Southern Corsica.

A Catamaran for Families and Groups of Friends

ADEONA’s four-double-cabin layout makes her an interesting proposition for up to eight guests.

Groups of couples can enjoy four proper double cabins, while families have ample communal space so everyone can spend time together without feeling confined to a single area.

The wide beam and shallow draft of a sailing catamaran also create advantages in a destination like Sardinia, where much of the experience revolves around sheltered bays and spending time close to shore.

For guests who value outdoor living and time in the water more than covering long distances every day, an Alegria 67 can offer a particularly rewarding way to experience the region.

ADEONA’s current availability is:

8–14 September 2026
Olbia – Olbia

For guests with the flexibility to organize a late-summer escape at short notice, the combination of the yacht’s positioning, September timing, and reduced rate creates a particularly attractive opportunity.

Planning Six Nights from Olbia

With a six-night charter, good itinerary planning matters more than trying to include every famous location.

At Your Boat Holiday, we work with the captain to tailor the route to weather conditions, cruising distances, and what guests actually want from their holiday.

One group might prioritize Costa Smeralda, Porto Cervo and evenings ashore. Another might spend most of the week around La Maddalena, concentrating on swimming and quieter anchorages. A third might combine Northern Sardinia with Bonifacio and a taste of Southern Corsica.

Starting and finishing in Olbia gives us the flexibility to design each experience without imposing a predetermined itinerary.
