Three fights in a row ended by knockout. A six-figure contract followed. Now Abdallah Ondash wants to use The Inner Circle on May 29 as the next step toward becoming the first Lebanese ONE World Champion.

Abdallah Ondash faces Denkriangkrai Mavinn Muaythai in a strawweight Muay Thai co-main event at The Inner Circle, streaming live for members at live.onefc.com from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on May 29.

The 24-year-old Tiger Muay Thai product carries a 7-1 ONE Championship record and five career finishes into the bout, including a third-round stoppage of Kompet Sitsarawatsuer at ONE Friday Fights 132 last November that earned him his contract.

Denkriangkrai brings a five-fight winning streak, 62 career victories, and the kind of forward-pressing, close-range style that suits a fighter who has been knocking on the door of a roster spot for years.

Abdallah is fighting on the same card as his younger brother Ramadan, who headlines the flyweight Muay Thai main event against Suriyanlek Por Yenying. The brothers have never competed on the same ONE Championship card before. For Abdallah, the shared stage adds an extra dimension to an already meaningful night.

“It was very nice. Honestly, it was a surprise for me, but I already had a good record in ONE Championship,” he said.

“After getting the contract, Inshallah, I will do my best and win my first fight with the contract.”

Abdallah Ondash wants Aliff Sor Dechapan or Prajanchai next

Abdallah Ondash has already mapped out what comes after Denkriangkrai. A win on Friday night opens the door to the biggest names in the strawweight division, and he has called out two of them by name: reigning ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion Prajanchai PongSuphan PK and Thai-Malaysian contender Aliff Sor Dechapan, who defeated his brother Ramadan at ONE Fight Night 38 in December.

Abdallah has studied both men. He has also studied his own record and found a pattern he believes applies directly to Aliff.

“If I win, by knockout or decision, I want to fight for the title. I want Prajanchai or Aliff because he fought my brother Ramadan. Yes, Aliff won, but if not for the knee knockdown, maybe Ramadan wins,” he said.

“I like tall opponents. Tall bodies don’t always have power. I have good kicks and punches. He kicks and moves back a lot. He’s fast, yes, but not like me. The first tall fighter I fought, I knocked him out. It will be the same for Aliff.”
